fly inland, as how far have you seen them from the ocean?

~given the the word "sea" gull is a misnomer, they ocean has nothing to do with their habitat. Of the 55 members of the Laridae family, there is not one called "Sea Gull". However, no gull has ever been found further inland than mid-continent.

I saw once a group of seagulls flying 300 km from the coast, and were following a group of pelicans into a dam's lake in Oaxaca, Mexico.
