Listening to Internet radio can. Just like doing anything else on the Internet takes bandwidth which can't be used for other things. Listening to regular radio will not affect your Internet speed.

Yes...Actually when u listening the radio through the internet ...the voices (nothing but some datas) are going on to the transfer operation....As networking's speed is based on the memeory transfer thus,the speed should be decreased.

We can't listen to online radio or view streaming video where I work b/c it slows down the system we are on. I don't know if it slows down individual connections or not.

The internet is not effected at all by your radio---your system however is an entirely different matter--your taking up memory space the harder you pump the stream and yoiu probably are in need of added memory to accommadate for it all

yeah.. in a big way. If you are listening to internet radio in office, beware.. you slow down the office network ..and people can see who is doing it
