Ok Im going to try to break it down
the 9th and 10th amendment state that anything not in the constitution is up to the people and the states. Plus citizens have rights not in the Constitution.
The 14th says Anyone born in the US is a citizen and is equal
Plus there is the full faith and credit clause saying each state needs to recognize acts from other states!

Marry who you want to with or without the states approval. Then draw up what legal documents you need to to ensure your spouses rights. Marriage is between you and God and doesn't require the states approval. I wish the state would get out of the marriage business anyway.

That's right -- and 45 of our 50 states have either a state constitutional amendment or a state statute which specifically defines marriage as a union of ONE MAN to ONE WOMAN.

45 out of 50.

That's 90%, for you math non-wizards out there.

You're right -- anything not in the US Constitution specifically is up to the people (who overwhelmingly reject "gay marriage") and to the states (see the above stat on the definition of marriage).

In every state where "gay marriage" has been put to a vote, it's received nothing short of a sound thrashing -- even in Oregon, perhaps the most liberal state in the country!

So think about that, and be careful to keep it in mind before brandishing the 9th and 10th Amendments in support of "gay rights" issues such as "gay marriage."

If you go by the line all men are created equal. they yes you do. if you are a citizen of this country you deserve every right that heterosexauls have. this is the same thing they did to african-americans, and native americans. you cannot deny the rights of one group to another group. i wish people would stop being so hypocritical but give it time they are running out of excuses.

Homosexual people have rights just like every other US citizen.

State (and Federal) laws can definitely be unconstitutional. There used to be laws prohibiting inter-race marriages. They are unconstitutional, the same goes for laws prohibiting gay marriage.
