~What difference should that make to you? If you want to do it, do it and find out on your own. What I like should be meaningless to you. Are you really going to consider a career move based on the results of a poll here? Get real.

That's a bit of a loaded question. I'm a graphic designer. I love some of the aspects of my job while other parts, I loathe.

Graphic design careers can cover a very broad range of work. There's a difference in doing both freelance or working as a salaried employee in a more corporate environment.

It's not all about drawing pretty pictures or logos, or doing "cool" stuff all the time. Much of it can be very mundane.
One thing to keep in mind is that the end result is pleasing to the customer or client. It doesn't matter what you like. It's what they like.

It can be a very tough pill to swallow, if you've done something you think is great, based on initial concept only to have the client reject it and have you pursue their quirky idea no matter how crappy and dull their idea is.

NOOO. Usually the first few jobs we get we absolutely hate. Especially the more creative ones (like me) who like to have leadership positions. Working in sign and print shops are not for us who have professional degrees!

I was one before I got promoted... And yeah, I loved it. You get to be so creative and it really feels like you're just playing around. Doesn't feel like work at all.
