The government has said we need to keep pushing for the six party talks to resume. Im not a war monger but i cant help but think we took an agressive approach with Iraq on the thoughts that they "might" have WMDs. Iraq had nothing. North Korea is a much higher threat to the world community than Iraq, yet we need to talk. I dont know what is scarier, North Korea or our government over looking North Korea to focus on the lesser threat in Iraq.

Why do you Americans feel the need to do anything? Please go back through your history and look at the conflicts your country has started because you don't like what someone else is doing. That history is why Americans are hated in so many places throughout the world. Please don't get me wrong, I am not anti-American, my Mom was born there, my wife is a descendant of a U.S. president but if Vietnam and Iraq haven't taught you anything, what will your leaders get you into next? Bush is scarier than North Korea's leader because he is so stupid, I'd rather an unstable North Korea over a stupid U.S. but nothing you or I can say will make a difference. I'd say God help us all but that won't help either, sorry.

No, i'm not stunned. North Korea doesn't care what Obama did on the G20 summit. North Korea nonetheless would have released their missile if Bush become president. that they had use the launch to attempt Bush's reactions a useless ringer for they're doing with Obama.

The tests failed, the missile of greatest concern exploded over hte ocean without hitting its intended target. North Korea wants attention and they will do anything to legitimize themselves on the world stage. I am in no way a presidential advisor but I think we should give them some attention and cut off all monetary and humanitarian aid we send them.

North Korea has long asked for a non-aggression treaty with the United States, and energy assistance. Why not give them what they want in exchange for dismantling their nuclear program? This problem has no military solution; we must solve it peacefully.

I'm more considered as a canadian of the massive stock of nukes, long range missiles, tanks, guns of all types and blood thirsty scientists who are inventing even more destructive weapons in the States.... but we have our 10 jets and 3 transport copters and worst case scenario we'll just become the 55th state after Iraq (as long as you promise you won't shock and awe us)... and if you do well we'll still become the 55th state and drain your economy ...
