My advice:
1. Cropped pants
2. Long tank tops
3. Short jackets (over #2)
4. Those espadilla of whatever shoes with the lace-ups, or peep toes
5. Black dresses past your knees
6. Skinny jeans
Anything comfy and cool!
Anything long and lean
Be happy!

I'm the same height and it's so frustrating sometimes! For casual, I get my jeans from the Gap because they have an "Ankle" length. They fit the same as the regular ones but they're an inch shorter. They're not petite so they fit me right in the hip area. I usually look a little taller when I wear those with a heel. They land right above the floor so they make your legs look longer.

For business, I go with pinstripes as much as possible. I find that most suits look horrible on me. If you're short and over a size 4, it's hard to find ones that don't make you look like a football player. If you can, take a friend shopping with you to find a couple of well-fitting blazers or jackets. You should get some that fall just above your hips. Anything shorter and you look cut in half but anything longer just makes you look lost in the material. Blazers are always good because you can wear them to work or with jeans and they'll still look good.

Good luck!

If u have long attractive legs, than short skirts and tall thin heels will make u look a lot taller.

Wear short skirts. I'm no designer or anything, but I like to look at a woman's leg. Shorter skirts reveal more open leg. More leg = taller look. Heels help too but you know that.

Stand up straight. Your posture plays a HUGE part of whether you look tall and confident or slouchy and shy. Good posture will also keep your organs in their proper place. If you slump and slouch a lot you weaken your abdominal muscles and your organs rest in the little pouch created by the weakened muscles. Then it is harder than hell to get those muscles back in shape.

Clothing wise, you will probably want to wear verticle striped pants or skirts and higher heels.

Its all about the wardrobe, black slacks with a light colored vertical pinstripe, soft matching shirt with an a-line jacket. This will make you look allot taller. Watch "What Not To Wear" on TLC you will get allot of advice on how to accentuate what you have.

Try wearing skirts just below the knee ( helps to lengthen your legs) Also straight leg pants will help. Wear shrugs to help your torso appear *longer* and platforms will add inches.... : ) I wouldn't recommend them if you are clumsy like me. But I wear them anyway.

Good luck, remember to be happy with who you are, even if you may be *short*er than most! I wish I was shorter, even though I am only 5'5''. Not tall probably average, I guess.

Don't Worry, Be happy.
