Maybe he could have helped Mexico score more goals (especially against Angola and Portugal) when Borgettin went down with an injury.
Too bad his attitude didn't help him much in making a case to join the team.

No, Blanco was hurt at the time LaVolpe choose the 23 players, and there's no way you're going to gamble to take a player that is hurt and old for the World Cup. I think LaVolpe made the right choices....(except for Chiquis Garcia), but other than that I don't think the could have done a better job. LaVolpe went out to win, and things didn't work out. He made the right choices, and it's too bad a lot of Mexicans are not very supported. That's what's wrong with Mexico, We're always looking for the wrong things and never satisfied, but we never look at the good things that the team did.

Blanco would love to say this. Unfortunately for him, his negative attitude has lost him more opportunities than he cares to mention and one player does not make a team.
Mexico once again, played like never before, but lost as always. I still can't put my finger on why this happens at every World Cup.

No. I accept that blanco was good in his day but lately he wasn't doing much for his team (america) and he's becoming more of a socialite than a better soccer player.

Yeah definitely. He is Mexico's best player and not putting him in the international team makes no sense. Oh and Bofo is fat, so like he wouldnt be good for Mexico.
