Head to toe:

* Scrunchie in your side ponytail.
* Enormous plastic hoops, or metal lightning bolt earrings.
* Enormous, off-the-shoulder shirt, either belted or tied or pulled through one of those little plastic rings.
* Fourteen bangles. Exactly fourteen. And a Swatch watch on the other wrist.
* Either leggings or tight-rolled jeans.
* Scrunch socks, preferably in three or four colors.
* High tops.

Oh, man, the 80s were ugly.

it is said that old is gold. It is the truth about clothes also. Most of the clothes like Maxi, Long skirts, Bell botts etc which are now popular was in fashion in 80's also. I myself had cut one of my mother's saree and made that into a salwar. And that work is in the in thing. So before saying the 80's fashion boring ask you parents to show you their clothes. Maybe you can also get something like me which is in fashion today

Definitely leggings and also skin tight jeans. Sergio Valente was a hot pair of jeans back then. We also wore jeans that had flowers or other designs printed on them. Shirts that were cut off and shirts that had one sleeve off the arm. Bangle bracelets and earrings. Jeans with high heels was very popular. Charm bracelets were a big thing too.

I was young, but I remember, parachute pants, off the shoulder t-shirts, tight jordache jeans, and jordache purses (they came in a variety of colors!), rolling the bottoms of those jeans was important as well, We also had genie pants (kind of like strech pants), and wore leg warmers with everything. Anything with lots of zippers, there was stone wash jean jackets with lots of buttons, you know New Kids on the Block buttons! It was an interesting fashion time with really big hair, and bad makeup, I hope it never comes back!

Pleather parachute (Michael Jackson) pants, Skin tight cropped pants with long shirts with chain belt around them and even short skirts over the topof the pants. Layered tanks just like now. Blue jean jackets were huge!!! Oh my favorite Everyone wore beads!!! We took lots of long beads and twisted them together they even sold clips to hold them together. Anything with rhinestones. Then we teased our hair up in the front and would blowdry one side out. Wow talk about flash backs. Now I know I'm getting old!!!!
