Does Missouri tax social security income???? they tax almost everything else just wondering?

Tell me about the tax! Phone bill is $45 becuase there is $25 in taxes!! They are killing me! And what's up with the sales tax and buying a new car! That make others mad too?

The federal govt does not have the authority to collect an income tax because there is no law making American liable to pay it! The income tax started as a VOLUNTARY TAX to support government. 'Til this day there is no law making you liable to pay the tax. American are paying the tax because of IRS intimidation, ignorance of the law, or fear of imprisonment. People that have been tried for tax evasion were indicted because they completed a 1040 form stating, under penalty of perjury, that they earned income. Well the US Supreme court defined income as a corporate profit! There are many other US and circuit court cases that makes it clear that the 16th Amendment did not give Congress any new taxing powers (Brushaber vs. Union Pacific Railroad Company) because Congress already had the authority to impose a DIRECT TAX as long as it was apportioned amongst the 50 states. Well the founding father added the apportionment clause to basically make it impossible for Congress to tax your labor.

I live in MO also and I believe they do tax it. They tax any possible thing they can so they get theirs. I am almost positive

i think so, youre right though missouri does tax everything else, but it's where i live so i deal with it!
