I dont recall the actual day as far as "DATE TIME PLACE" but i remember when i actually realized i was in love with him.. its something that gradually happens, but there could be an actual time that hits you to realize that you do.. I already love my husband.. but sometimes he can be doing something so trivial and that same feeling reappears.. for example when he plays with the kids, i just look at him and this feeling of cloud 9 love comes over me i realize how lucky i am to have such a great husband, father to our children..and i fall in love with him all over again, to the point that i want to jump his bones lol..

Both! I fell in love with my husband the day we met...although I did not realize it until a few hours after we met. I now believe in "love at first sight" when I did not before. Some things are just meant to be and you have no choice until it is too late for you to want to make the choice even if you had one. sometimes it really does, "just happen"!

I have know my husband for years before we even imagined getting together. He was my fav cousins best friends. I lived in California and he lived in Philly. So I can definately say it was not gradual thing b/c I would only visiting every 2 years for a month or less.

Anyway...I took a vacation to philly after college for 3 months. I used this opportunity to search the job market on the east coast. My cousin was gracious enough to let me stay in his home. While there of course his bf would be there. I still had not interest or intention of hooking up. He was definately eye candy but I have known him so long that I looked at him as family too.

Anyway, I had a interview in NY and this was the first time there in life. And was terrified to take a bus up there alone. I was going to stay in Brooklyn with a girlfriend from college that just moved there. I left that friday night for my monday interview. That Sunday morning my cousins bf drove up to NY to make sure I was safe. (Weird, yet thoughtful). My girlfriend had to work that moring so I was left alone in her apartment with my cousins bf. It was so hot that day and she did not have ac. So we went up on the roof to suck up any wind gust we can get on that summer day. We just sat and talked about a lot of things (I am still naive about everything, he's like family). All of a sudden 2 white doves landed on the edge of the building in front of us. We were amazed and shocked. Usually, its only one but too doves was rare. From that moment on I looked at him differently.

Come to find out he as admired me for years. And was afraid to say anything. We have been married now for 3 years and I am still in love and SHOCK as the day in the roof.

for the first time ever, it was in Marquette Michigan while in college. He was the one and I knew it instantly. We never really got together and to this day, I know if I would have married him, I would still be on my first marriage, working every day to make it a happier one.
