my boyfriend is a really jealous guy. he doesn't even like for me to talk to certain guys. i feel like he doesnt trust me. i've talked to him about it but waht can i do for him to change his controlling ways?

im just like your boyfriend. he probably doesnt think hes good enough for you and that there could be betters guys than him out there, so he is worried that you might meet some one better and leave him forever.
to help him with this, just keep reassuring him that youll be with him forvever and that theres nothing that will come between us. that might calm him down.

I feel you on this. My b/f of 3.5 years is the same way. He does not like me to talk to guys or go anywhere w/o him. I know he is not cheating on me like some ppl would say. But seriously sometimes guys are just this way. My b/f would never talk to anyone or go out without me...so that is why he doesn't like me to do it. NOW...if he talks to other girls and he does his own thing then maybe he is feeling guilty about something. You can't really change him, he is the one that has to change. If this is really bothering you and affecting your relationship then you two need to have another talk. Let him know that you are concerned about his trust issues with you and ask him why he does it? Maybe he has a good reason. I would only be worried if he talks to other girls... It sucks that your man is jealous, but if he doesn't want you talking to certain guys then don't. If you can't stop talking to them then ask yourself if your man is worth it. Good luck.

Being jealous to a certain extent is ok. At least he is showing that he cares and wants to hang on to you. Sounds like you BF is going a little overboard. Do u allow him to talk to whoever he wants??

not really...jealousy can turn into obsession which can turn into controlling behavior. it sounds like your boyfriend doesn't trust you, even just to talk with other guys. he's obviously insecure with your relationship.
