Ross. Rachel wanted to deny him of sex/love/relationship, but didn't want him to have one with anyone else. You can't do that to a person. Either be with him or let him be with someone else.

I think I'd have to side with Rachel. Yeah she said she wanted a break, but that was only because Ross couldn't let go of the whole Mark thing. If he had just trusted her, and quit thinking that she was gonna sleep with Mark, then there would have been no need for a break.

Rachel. Of course, I may be biased because Rachel was my favorite female character (Chandler was my favorite guy) but Ross jumped too quickly. If he really loved Rachel that much, he would never have been able to be with someone else that quickly. And they were on a 'break'...they didn't break up.

Rachel was right... because even though they were officially on a break, Ross knew it would still hurt Rachel if he slept with someone else that soon. Officially he did nothing wrong, but he still hurt someone he loved, and I can see why Rachel would be mad about it.

ROSS. He shouldn't have taken that girl back to his apartment, but at the end of the day, it was Rachel who asked for some time, so he was legally coverered:

US Break-up Code 16.C.H.E.A.T.1995 art. 75a paragraph III:
"(...) even in the event a Party has not officially terminated this Agreement, in written, the other Party shall not be responsible for acts or omissions ocurred within the period accounted from the date the breaking Party uses his/her right to suspend activities covered under article 26 in this Agreement or its appendixes therein until the date when the breaking Party notifies, in written or, by means of a mutual friend, his/her intention to re-initiate activities and end the above-mentioned suspention."

Rachel-regardless if they were on a break or not...if he really loved her, he would not have been sleeping with someone else. They were on a break only a few hours when he slept with that girl!!! NO NO NO Ross
