The problem is, when wilt scored 100 points in that time, there weren't nba players as good as the players now. So, Kobe's 81 would already have been almost impossible, let alone 101!

I think so. A team would to agree to let one payer score all the points. It would most likely be at the end of a season against a team with no defense. Kobe got 81 points, but if the Lakers had planned it from the beginning, he could have scored more.

there is alot of talent you have guys like lebron that could do it he has no one else to score if he took more shots its possible i.e. not a cav fan but can see obvious talent
