i want to have fun but my parents won't let me?

everytime i want to go somewhere they say no i really want to able to go places w/t my friends but they don't trust me!!!

Depends how old you are. If you're still young, and by that I mean too young to operate a motor vehicle legally on your own, then sorry kiddo. You're going to have to suck it up and wait until you're older to do some of the things you want to do. What kinds of activities are these that your folks won't let you join in? Are these kids a bad influence? If your parents don't know your friends, I can't blame them for being strict. I know parents are so embarrassing when you're young, but you'll thank them when you're older for caring enough about you to make sure you're safe. That doesn't mean you shouldn't get to have any fun. My dad was very strict with me but when it came to certain things, like concerts for example, he'd allow me to go if my older brother took us or if my friend's older brother took us. You can try asking them about something along those lines, or you can have them take you to the mall or the movies and set up a meeting time to come back to them. I bet if you show them you can be back on time and be responsible, they will start loosening the reigns. Good luck.

Because your parents care about YOU. It's not that they don't trust YOU; they KNOW how your friends are. They recognize the fact that teens today have no morals, no concept of accountability or responsibility, and there is entirely too much opportunity for trouble. *shrugs* Listen to them, instead of complaining. You'll grow up to be a better human being for it.
