Coming from way on the other side of this issue (I dated many times, years and years ago. Now, I am married eight years.), only a peck.
If you start with "french kissing," where else is there to go. Before you know it, you'll be getting in over your head.
Just give a peck. When the time comes--and it may not be for years!--when the time comes, you'll know when it's right.

pecking is okay but a full on french kiss might make the guy think bad thing of you. better safe than sorry.

As for me I am sending that tongue right down her throat and my hands are heading right for her a$$ . This not usually an issue because I let it all be known up front what we are going to do.
PS: There is some danger to this though just remember to keep your hands up to protect your face from her hands and turn sideways to protect your balls . As you can see from my advice I have experience in these types of relationships.

It depends, but usually, I let him decide what to do. If he goes for a french kiss, then I don't stop him.
