It broke off and now its stuck in there. I have tried super glue and it didnt work.

Just replace it, it's like $70. Or take it to a mechanic, but they'd probably charge $100 plus labor. Don't mess with the ignition too much or you could break something else inside. Cars can be really fragile sometimes and then they're expensive to fix. Just let a professional do it. It will save you a lot of time and money.

Here's the correct answer. For starters, DON'T use super glue; you'll end up gluing the key in place. Also, magnets won't work and could screw up something if passed too close to certain electronic parts. Call your local locksmith...he has a specialized "grabber" tool for just this situation. It will cost you a few bucks for the service, but it will be cheaper than spending a lot more when you mess up the cylinder and switch assembly.

IF you can see the key, you can use a peice of coat hanger and super glue it to the key then pull it out, be sure not to glue the key into the lock though...

ok depends on what kind of car it is to replace it email me and i might be ablle to help if its a ford turn it to the run positon and stick a pick in on the underside of the colum it slides right out if its a gm and most other cars you have to take of the stearing wheel horn plate and turnsignal switch if its the type in the dash and not on the colum its not fun em ail me let me know the deltails i might be able to help, also you can try to use a maglet but that might not work concidering most keys are non feris metals

Unless you have a magic wand your gonna have to remove the key cylinder and pick it out that way.......Good Luck.

Just replace it. if its the same for the door and that's the only one you have go to a lock smith to get the rest of the locks new key OR go down to an Autozone to get new lock for your model

Try a magnet,if that don't work a locksmith has the tools to get that out for you.
