They do have an all Black strip, But this is their Away strip, this might be what your thinking of.
Their Home strip has always been the same colour that it is now.

every match has 1 home team and 1 away team.. so the team which is home has the liberty of choosing their jersey color and the away team has to concede and wear a jersey which is opposite to the color so that there is no confusions while passing..
