Well some ppl like to show it off, I know someone who bought one and showed it off at school, then someone broke open his locker with a shoelace (yes it's possible) and took his Ipod and wallet. Then HE GOES BACK TO THE STORE AND BUYS ANOTHER IPOD AND STILL SHOWS IT OFF. Then there are the ppl that want to buy it, like me, i really want to listen to my songs on the go cuz my old mp3 got fried by steam.

A lot of people only buy iPods only cuz they c all their frnds and their fav stars with it. It's not all that great... a lot of them break down after some time.
I prefer Zen micro or a sony MP3, they're cool.

personally, i want one simply because i want one. i couldn't care less whether i was cool or not (frankly i like being the outcast that i am) but there are a lot of people who think that they need an ipod so they can be cool, so they go out and buy the latest design. it can go both ways, it just depends on the person.

I don't know . . . as much as the in thing matters, I wouldn't get an ipod just because of that . . . I don't even have one yet actually, but I wish I did because I've gotten more into music and would love to have it handy. Ipods are awesome!!!!

i bought mine because of the excess of accessories that are available with the iPod. With its increasing popularity, accessories are being built with the iPod in mind.

First to be in, then they are fooled into wanting it. America is great at making people think they need or want something.
Take rap for example.

I think most get bought because they are 'in'. I also prefer Creative products.
