The real question is ... Why do keep choosing heart-breaking jerks to have relationships with. Read the book "Smart Women, Foolish Choices."

Work on yourself spiritually and you are more likely to attract a like minded mate. As the saying goes when the student is ready the master will appear. In the case you are still hot to trot and want to date right now I would suggest changing venues. Avoid bars like the plague. Maybe through a Church, yoga class, or charity group you would have better probability. Maybe you are meeting these guys through your friends. Maybe you need to spend time with friends that are more functional. I can't say because I do not know your exact situation. This is just something for you to think about and see if it fits.
I would not rush into any relationships but really get to know the people before you date them. I call this the friends’ first principle.
Some guys will go to great lengths out of motivation for sex so watch out. Others guys are legitimately nice but also either do not have the same values/connection or are legitimately confused. Sometimes it’s hard to tell until you start dating them a bit. Really try to develop the friendship. If he can't be your friend without sex then once sex becomes common you won't have anything to else to relate to or revive the relationship in those natural down swings.
In short it is not only possible to find the guy that is right for you but probably, that is if you increase your awareness and change your old habits. Everything happens for a reason. We can either chose to listen to the universe and benefit or ignore the signs and suffer. Yes, sometimes suffering is evitable and for that I empathize with you. The heartbreak of finding the right person can seem unbearable at times. It'll get better if you chose to believe it will. Take good care of yourself. You sound like a very sweet person.

Because you keep the company of that one type: heart-breaking jerks. You are probably unconsciously programmed by past events to do so.

Because there is something in you that is attracting these heartbreaking jerks. Go sound out your feelings with a good counselor, tell them you have had multiple heartbreaks. It could be you are attracted to men with this personality type, they hurt you and then that just adds to your problems.

Because remember guys are dumb thier brians are slow but not all guys are like that.I found someone whose not like that.You just got to keep looking.

Give a chance to someone you can truly trust......thats hard to find...I know...
