My mother taught me at a very young age to refuse to be sick and never ever feel sorry for myself. The body may feel bad but what makes you suffer with it is your mental relationship with the discomfort. Sometimes I catch something but it never lasts more than a day. Mind over matter really works.

This advice is probably better for avoiding getting sick in the future, Sorry you feel bad -- rest and sleep and drink lots of water. Hope you feel better soon.

Aloha ~

There are so many different strains of the flu virus...the thing with viruses is that there isn't much you can do to get rid of it. You have to let it run it's course. You can treat the symptoms. They say it can take from 7-14 days for a virus to run it's course. Sorry you are sick!

Take 200% Vitamin C per day, See if you can get antiboitics from a doctor to kill the virus. And there is an old saying that says "Starve a Cold and Feed a Flu" (Or maybe its the other way around)

I'm sorry to hear that you're sick. The flu is caused by a virus, and only your body's immunity will overcome this. It is true however, that Vitamin C can help, as well as the old remedy of chicken noodle soup. I hope I've helped you with this, hope you feel better soon........best of luck.......

If it's the very beginning, take Zicam. It will shorten the duration and alleviate the intensity - I've used it and love it! Other than that, drink way more fluids than you ever thought possible - but not sugary stuff.
