people say its bad because more hair will just keep coming out more then you had before but its really not like a big deal!

I had some friends that shaved their arms. While they were doing it they liked not having arm hair, but it was time consuming. You had to do it almost every day to keep it smooth. When the hair grows back it is scratchy and itchy and looks really bad. None of them do it anymore. Also I saw on The View the other day that it's not true that if you shave hair it comes back thicker. They said it just may look that way, but it's not thicker, darker nor does it grow faster.

I did for a while, and I have no more hair now than I did then. Use Nair or another cream depilatory though, it makes your arms nice and soft and takes longer to grow back.
As far as the rumor that shaving makes your hair grow back thicker, when you shave your just cutting the hair off. The end is blunt and it looks thick growing back, but it's no thicker than it was, it just doesn't have the tapered end of newly grown hair.

r u talkin about shaving ur underarms or ur arms? i shave both, i just hate any type of body hair. most ppl cant tell that i shave my arms, before it was a pain, but now i only have to do it once every 2 weeks. nothing bad will come of it. hair will always continue to grow!

No, it's not bad to shave your arms but if you shave it is going to come back thicker and blacker than it was. I would not recommend you shave your arms but you can. when you shave it shows more muscle definition soo. If that is the look you are going for GO FOR IT!!!!

nothijng bad about shaving your arms sum do it not to look like a man and all the rumors are false your hair dosent grow longer every time you shave

It's ok to shave your arms. This does not make more hair grow in or darker hair grow. Those are myths.

if you feel that you have too much hair on your arms, you can bleach it instead of shaving it. If you shave your arm hair, it comes back scraggly and thick.

i don't believe that it is bad but i don't do it because when the hair grows back its all stubble on your arms and it feels worse then before i had shaved.

no i shave my arm pits cause i think underarm hair is disgusting for girls and boys but i also really hate chest hair
