You say..."i keep thinking what would god think of me if i did this".

Are you a born-again Christian? Have you given your life to the Lord? If your answers are yes then you KNOW what God will think.

Be cool don't be no fool.

Peace Out.

I suggest you ignore both mind and body. They are both manipulative and needy.

Think about that for a second. your body needs many things to continue to operate normally: food, water, correct temperature (not to hot not too cold), use but not overuse or abuse of muscles, etc, etc. The mind needs to think all the time, processing electrical signals from the body including emotions like compassion, affection, will, desire, and all the things the body needs the mind processes.

The mind also plays games, tricking itself and the body into believing things that aren't true, through misinterpretation, ignorance, survival, etc, and can easily become deluded. This is something the body is incapable of, which makes it more honest than the mind, but still needy and manipulative, self obsessed with telling the mind what it needs, what hurts, etc, etc.

The most honest source of truth when asking questions about real life choices, where God may be indifferent or in opposition to what a person needs, is to ask the moment.

The first thing you need to do to prepare to ask the moment is to satisfy the body, so it won't distract you by asing for stuff. Then you must deal with your mind, which is far more difficult. The objective is to stop thinking altogether, and go to a place of No Mind. If you find you are unable to do this, try reading some of the book called "The Power Of Now", by author sage Eckhart Tolle. His writings will not refute any religious teachings you follow, only support and assist you in finding truth.

Once you have found the place of No Mind, the solution to your problem will not present itself, but when you return to reality you will discover your problem no longer exists and everything will be right and good. Most importantly, you will find a deeper sense of peace then you ever have in your life, feeling a stronger connection to the spiritual world where God resides. Follow this practice with every problem you encounter and your life will be like heaven on Earth whenever you choose for it to be.

Peace be with you.
