I am looking into getting a tummy tuck and I want really good results and a good recovery. What things do I look for when finding the right surgeon?

OH yea, for those with the stupid remarks and haven't had any kids..... It's because I have 2 kids and I've lost my weight but have pretty bad stretch marks. Can't get rid of those with lotions or with other things. Just wanted to make the idiots aware of that.

First I would look at the track record and credentials this person has. Find out how that person does the tummy tuck versus other sergeons. Look at pictures of their work and see if you like the results. Remember everyone doctor is 'practicing medicine' so not everything is guaranteed to be perfect. Then see if you can afford the person. Also check out if there are any complaints out on the doctor or if he has been reported for any malpractice suites. Try looking up their licencing thru the state medical board of the state they are practicing in. Then if all checks out....go get a tummy tuck.

Go to a forum and read about other people's experience.

To get good results, first you should have a medical exam to see if you are a good candidate (this is for your safety), then check if the plastic surgeon has experience and ask him/her to show you pictures of his former patients. He must also be certified. I knew about a gynecologist who used to perform this kind of surgery and one of his patient who had the tummy tuck has elephant ears (excess skin of the sides) and she cannot stand upright; she had surgery over a year ago, so I think that he cut too much skin. I wish you the best.

This is an interesting website. Check it out!

Try exercise and diet first. If this in not something you can do for some reason then look for a teaching hospital and talk to the surgery department there. (That would be a university hospital, this is safest because they are more accountable for what they do.) Remember if you have this done and gain weight you might again become unhappy with your body.

Get tummy tuck surgery in India.Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.

I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance or by NHS in UK.They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible.

As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.

my cousin got her breast reduction/liposculpture/buttoc... lift surgery in India through the forerunners healthcare.she is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise fore this forerunners healthcare company.i personally have seen the wondeful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company

All females get it to an quantity yet yours sounds like a tear- the reason i imagine that is because you factor out soreness even as doing abdomen workouts. Wait till 18 months postpartum and attempt the workouts back- in the adventure that they nonetheless reason extreme soreness than that's in simple terms about certain you tore. 18 months is the dimensions of time that's going to absorb your body to completely get better. Someone who is really expensive, and will make you feel like getting a tummy tuck will be the answer to your problems, rather than your low-self esteem and slovenly habits......
