why do" pretty" women prefer "ugly" man?

i heard this question on t.v and i am still wondering.is this true?what do you guys think?

maybe to someone else they might be "ugly" but to them, the guy's the sexiest man they've ever seen. I think when someone has a great personality, you can't help it but think they are so attractive. Of course, this isn't always the case, some pretty girls will only date handsome guys.

They sometimes are not self-confident enough, love making a big impression and think the ugly guy will stay with them for ever.
I would like to underline here: what's ugly for some people is beautiful to others. That's why not thousands of women go for a one man only. I hope you notice it around you.
One time I saw in a Spanish disco a FAB young man who was starring at his extremely fatty, not too much pretty girl friend if she was the only on the earth. That let me think, what counts is what and how you feel about other person you're with and not what other people think about him (her). Listen to your heart ONLY!

Everyones opinion of who is pretty and who is ugly is completely different. And personality plays a large part. Take celebrities for example. Anyone who knew me would say that since I was about thirteen until last year I thought that Tom Cruise was the cats meow. This past year, with his derrogatory comments, and his redicoulous actions, I can't even look at him the same. I find unattractive things about him that I never realized (his big nose, and his angry eyes).

Also as one ages they completely find different things attractive about people. Again using celebrities, Ten years ago in my early twenties I would have never found somone like High Laurie or Vincen D'Onofrio attractive, and today they're on top of my top 5 list.

Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

Ugly forces you to look within their character and strengths. If they are very attractive, you tend to focus on that first.

If you have a conversation with a big fat man you might think "he's a really nice guy."

If you have a conversation with the attractive lot, you are probably thinking "he's hot."

Exercising the heart is more reliable.

This "pretty" woman just might see past what you think of as "ugly". Maybe she doesn't see that at all. A person's only worth ISN'T what they look like.

Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes straight to the bone.

The idea is that a ugly man is more desperate and willing to be espcially nice to any woman that comes across his path.

Since a pretty gal feels she can have any man she decides to be with a man who will treat her more kindly.

Of course, this subject just catagorizes all ugly men as the same and it says a nice looking guys are not worth wasting time on.

I personally do not agree with thinking that catagorizes any human being.

I wouldn't say pretty women like "ugly" men. I think women like men who are not as good looking because they have better personalities then men who are gorgeous and full of themselves. Also women probably don't want someone to compete with in looks, because women of course, want all the attention. (Anyways I don't think you would want to hear a guy talk about himself all day.)

I think the woman looks past the looks of a guy and looks at the heart and soul of a man, but whats ugly to one is beautiful to another. All men like all woman are cute, pretty, & beautiful to someone.

Because a lot of "pretty" women I think are usually more nice (not all the time) and prefer nice men and I think that usually if a man is handsome then he knows it and is kinda of self absorbed

I don't know if it's true or not it's the man's personality that does the trick,therefore; when they're so blinded by the their good person that they ignore to compeletely check out thier looks. Also I would think that it makes the woman look prettier when they're together.
