Your right on with this question. Yes indeed lets give all the countries around the world Nuclear weapons. Lets give them all the most updated weapons that the superpowers have. When Every country around the world has exactly the same arsenal as the super powers have. Then the world will finally know True Peace.
Not on your Nelly my old son. or (i could have said something else but had a change of mind.)
So in other words you think its OK for Other countries to have more modern weapons. Countries like say. Rwanda, Palestine,East Timor,Northern Ireland,Columbia,Iran,Syria,Lebanon,Turkey,Greece, Actually one could say most of the African countries. Well so far as we all know, see, and hear, Most of those countries that you seem willing to give them high spec weapons. Have not done to badly with what they have now. I am sure the family members who are left after their country was in civil war for years would appreciate your gesture immensely. And It is not Just one person who is telling other countries they cannot have certain weapons. Its Common Sense. Something of which you seem to Lack.

U've heard the saying then.
My Grandfather told me in Berlin as it fell the Yanks, Germans & Brits were in the midst of a fierce gunfight.
The Germans fired the Brits ducked.
The Brits fired the Germans ducked.
The Yanks fired, EVERYBODY DUCKED!

This is an inflammatory question that ignores history. There are international treaties that make it illegal for certain contries to have nuclear weapons. These treaties were in large part enacted to protect smaller countries such as the UK from lunatics that would seek to destroy you. When the US responds to such treaty violations, it is essentially for your own good as our allys; we in the US are much less vulnerable that you yourselves.

Who knows? And yes, he thinks that the USA is the most powerful country and can boss anyone around. And he doesn't believe in holding the US responsible for anything so lets just call him a hypocrite.

It depends on the intent of the nations who have the weapons. North Korea and Iran have both declared their intent to develop WMDs and use them against the US.

Who would you trust more with a nuke, Bush or Kim Jong Mentally ILL?

"Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country"

Because after the end of the Cold War there aren't any more international checks and balances, the USA is the only superpower left and they think it's their privilege to act as they please. I suppose any country in their position would act the same.

He does not have any right, neither US parliament. But somebody needs to make sure that some countries who own different perspectives on using that kind of weapons were not able to get one.
