There song is about an old photo of them before they got big, before they were known by anyone other then people from there home town. It basically means that a photograph is a memory of a moment back in time to be remembered and reflected on the good old days.

Casse toi could be translated as - scram or get lost, and pauvre con would be idiot or jerk. It sounds much more piquant in French though so rough translations don't do justice to what he said. It's really street language and not something dignified that you would expect from the head of state of a major power.

When you go back and look at old photographs, and it brings back old memories. It speaks of life in high school ,a first kiss, the place where you go to school /grow up. It speaks of memories and looking out the back door. Hindsight is 20/20. Isn't that true for all of us?

"Look at this photograph, everytime i do it makes me laugh, how did our eyes get so red and what the hell is on Joey's head"that photograph is a real photograph of Chad Kroeger's.The red eyes is about the fact that when the picture was taken, they were all drunk. What is on Joey's head?A big beer keg.The song is all reminiscing of old times.Kroeger was just thinking back.Brilliant song.

It means a guy who's looking at pictures is remembering how he grew up, got arrested, his family moved out, he never graduates highschool. He wants to recapture the good times of his youth.

This song is about reviewing the memories; missed and forgotten; from the band's childhood. It expresses the regret of things they neglected, such as their schoolwork, and the loved memories from their favorite personal landmarks.
