Tennessee Walkers are my favorite. I love all horses, but I've gotten to a point in my life that I don't want to ride a horse that trots. Right now I ride a big black walking horse stallion with the sweetest disposition. I breed several of my own mares as well as other people's mares. When I'm not riding him I ride one of our other gaited horses, either our Missouri Foxtrotter or Paso Fino.
All gaited horses have a smooth fast running walk that moves at the speed of other horses' trot. So, when we ride, we cover a lot of ground in a short time without tiring out our horses or ourselves. It's like sitting in a rocking chair riding gaited horses. Each breed has a different feel to their gait, but they are all smooth and very comfortable.
Although gaited horses are known as pleasure riding horses, they have been used as ranch/cow horses, barrel racers, reiners and cutters to mention a few competitions they have competed in.

Depends if I want to ride one I want a Painted Horse or a Palomino, but If it was just a favorite I would have to say Clydesdale or Percheron. I love the way those horse's are so big and beautiful and not to mention the extra hair at their ankles/hoofs.

Palomino
nothing more beautiful than that golden color with white mane and tail blowing in the wind.
A palomino really stands out in the pen when showing at a quarter horse show.
