They're people. Just like you or me, and everyubody else. There is nothing wrong with them. They aren't better or worse than anybody else because of their skin color. They're just human beings.

Since was involved in a Sociology study about the thoughts a race has for itself, and the thoughts one race has for another race, I can tell you that most answers you get in this forum may not be accurate.

If a person says blacks are just like me; that really means they actually see a difference. Let's face it, blacks are different from whites, and whites are different from blacks. No amount of love or social indifference camouflage can change that.

You can go to any city in America and ask for directions to a certain place in a large building; the directions from people are always, next to that black person or next to that white person. With the attack on America, the Arab people are seen as sinister and that means they are not thought of in a bright light. That is a feeling.

My answer to your question is not for points; it is for honesty. I think blacks have fewer opportunities than whites. I think blacks are good singers, dancers, and sports players. I think blacks can stand being in the hot sun more than I can. Now, that is the answer to your question. Indecently, I was a poor white boy that chopped and picked cotton when I was a boy, so I know blacks can stand the sun more than I will ever be able to. I feel those blacks that were in the field with me in South Carolina are my lifelong friends. That is how I feel.

It's not their race that matters. The stereotypes people attribute to black people are just as often seen in whites, too. From the handful of black people I've known, I would have to say that much of the prejudice and stereotyping is inaccurate. I've known them across occupations and in different places, and they were all decent, hardworking, interesting people. One was a clerk in a grocery store...she had a wicked sense of humor, a big heart, and a love for her grandchildren that was as clear as day. Another was a nurse's assistant at a hospital where I volunteered. She was funny, knowledgeable, and had interesting stories to tell. The third was a director of counseling services at a college I attended. She was intelligent, no-nonsense, and always willing to listen no matter what your problem was. So....I guess it depends far more on the person--and their attitude--than the color of their skin. The ones that play victim and try so hard to claim oppression--instead of doing something about it or making something of themselves--are the ones that get my goat.

I feel every race has curses..black people have generational curses across the world they must live with. Black people as a whole would profit by coming together and working on the basics, such as Family, economics, educating themselves to raise awareness amoung the youth. Black people are the fathers and mothers of the human race and when the parents of a family are largly disfunctional the entire family is at risk

I feel that black people are a very unique people with an extremely rich culture. Their community and commonality is unmatched. Though they have been oppressed for centuries, they still managel to capture the hearts of the world through their ability to expressed themselves through music, arts, entertainment etc. They have proven themselves to be innovators both politically and scientifically. I must say out of every race on the planet to choose from, I would choose being black.

What kind of question is that? you cannot generalize a whole group of people. And what exactly is a black person anyway? There are people with dark skin who are not "black" and there are people who look white who call themselves "black". there is no definition of what a race is, so maybe you should ask 'how do you feel about human beings?'

Seriously, I feel the same about black people as I do about Caucasian, oriental, Indian, etc. I think that people are people, regardless as to their skin color, because that is the only thing that makes us different.
