The philosophical question "What is the meaning of life?" means different things to different people. The vagueness of the query is inherent in the word "meaning", which opens the question to many interpretations, such as: "What is the origin of life?", "What is the nature of life (and of the universe in which we live)?", "What is the significance of life?", "What is valuable in life?", and "What is the purpose of, or in, (one's) life?". These questions have resulted in a wide range of competing answers and arguments, from scientific theories, to philosophical, theological, and spiritual explanations.

Someone can give you definitions for every aspect of life and you probably still won't understand because I believe the meaning of life is what you make of it. If you do things to make you miserable then your life will be horrible in every way, but if you go another route then you can be one of the most successful people in the world whether you have a lot of money or not, because of how you feel each day on your life if its good and you enjoy yourself as much as possible. You may never leave your home town or you may travel the world but if your happy who cares. I believe that's what life is all about.

I don't think there is an exact answer to this, or a right and wrong one either. But there are a few hypotheses such as: the meaning of life is to: love, learn, eat, starve, relax, dominate, need, trust, want, etc. I truly believe the no one knows the truthful answer(s) to this. And I aslo don't think that any holy book(bible, quran, etc.) has the answer to why billions of people are alive today on this very earth. Each person could ahve diff. purposes but when you pass away i think that you have fulfilled all your purposes but only if you died pecefully but never in a murder, suicide, or any type of auto accident, etc.

Why are we here? Because we're here roll the bones. Death is like getting out of one car and getting into another. Due to evolution of our minds,we're able to wonder about such things and contemplate our existence and what to look forward to after we die. Do we go to Heaven/Hell? Do we just rot and become part of the Earth? Do we come back as a wiser soul to try and better our life with the lessons learned from the previous one? Who knows? All one can do is concentrate on the here and now and make the best of what is handed to us.

Life is an end in of itself. The pursuit of one's own happiness through rational thinking and productive work is the purpose of life. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no "divine" or "supernatural" plan by which one must abide or seek. There is none to find. Life is an end in of itself and you should Seek your happiness through making the most of your abilities.

the meaning of life is to live and enjoy the gift. your life is a half of a whole. death is the other half. your road in life is a testing ground for your future. you must experience and achieve good things and your path and purpose will reveal itself.

Every one says life is precious and we should cherish it. But how can you enjoy it if there is so many things going on? I think it has a meaning, I just don't know what it is.

The meaning of life is to live accoding to what is best to society and life itself. You must live it righteously; otherwise, you are not worthy to live again according to God or your creator.
