No... The reason America doesn't care about it is this simple...
It is exactly what is wrong in our eyes with the rest of the world...
A game with no winner, it takes way to long, and there aren't enough scores to keep interest...
America likes games with defined winners and losers, that move fast, and take no prisoners...

I've been a soccer fan most of my life. I lived in Europe before coming to the States and soccer is more prevalent sport than the American Football. I played soccer in high school and college so I can truly say I'm a soccer fan!!!

The game literally unites millions of fans from around the world and is played by million of children around the world. I hope that we as fans receive the message they are promoting "Stop Racism."

Yes! Such a fan that I've taken to calling it football now! I watched my first WC game with Germany/Costa Rica, and I fell in love with the game and Germany. So now, I've become obsessed, though I'm still sad right now that Germany lost yesterday. Here's to a Portugal win today!

Have always been one, but it is helping with spreading the love of the beautiful game to the general masses. Hopefully that helps the US in the next one.
