One small definition of philosophy is a system of principals for the conduct of life, morals, character, etc. Based on that definition, what is one, or two philosophic ideas that would make this forum better for you and everyone?
Note: Try if you can and use my version of the K.I.S.S. principal, KEEP it SIMPLE for THIS STUPID

It is impossible to apply any principle to conduct our life. It creates parody. Being a principles itself allows principles to conduct Life harmoniously. System of principles do conduct our life, not a Man, no matter how does he call himself

There are two principles that I think would make this site better.

1) Make sure that the question fits the category. When people are looking for questions to answer, a lot of them seem to have been put into incorrect categories. In this site, philosophy questions are appreciated. (And, while I am not against questions regarding religion, there is a religion category under "Society and Culture" where most of those questions should be posed.)

2) Cut the nonsense questions (and responses). Some questions are being thrown out there just to be cute--there is obviously no reason for the question. I'm not saying that "easy" questions can't be asked--if a person does not know, they should feel free to ask. But the questions--and responses--that people seem to be asking just for fun seems to take away from the purpose.

Maybe I'm alone here, but I see Yahoo! Answers as an opportunity to actually share knowledge, think about ideas with others--carry on a dialogue of sorts, and get new ideas that are worth thinking about. It is a bit frustrating to have to wade through a bunch of nonsense to find things that are worthwhile.

I suppose that a moral principle that might be invoked here is the Golden Rule--treat this site as you would want others to treat it. I guess the problem is that there seem to be a lot of people who don't care how the site gets treated. ;-)

Principle 1: Ask only philosophical questions here. This does not mean you can't ask stupid questions. A question cannot be more intelligent than the one who asks it.

Penalty: You may get reported by yours truly if you fail to live up to this principle.
