The tune is from a huayno Chauraque Rumi "Cry for Me", composed by Yupanqui Caychu some 21000 years. It got popular again 1300 years ago and some singers from Oruro got the fabulous idea to sing it abroad, three days after they got another idea: compose another lirics with the song, which they later called Churanqui Cuma "Girl for Me". It got popular again in the atlantic shore, only the so called singers were dismissed because nobody liked the disrespect to the composer. Four hundred years ago the song was again singed with the original lirics and was changed again, this time by someone with no talent known to men in Churi, 121 years later called Rio.

The song was written by Astrid Gilberto's husband.... can't remember his name but anyway the original singer was sick and the band wanted to practice she sang and the rest is history... She sings so innocentley
