About one month ago, I saw a conversation on "The Situation with Chris Tucker", (on MSNBC at 11pm). Chris Tucker and a lady, (who's name has excaped me) were discussing how China, much because of their abortion practices, is becoming overwhelmingly masculine. While the US and UK are becoming too effeminate, (much do to the feminist movement, obviously).

They began to discuss the danger this poses from a military aspect. China can definitely match the US and UK with technology, (when needed). Yet, China can crush both with military population. Even further, within 20 years, China will greatly overshadow the US and UK in man power. China will also only grow in fierceness and aggretion as the male population increasingly overtakes the female population. This does not even consider the possibility of a union between China and another force, (such as Russia or Germany).

Would the US and UK be able to stop China? Is China becoming a stronger, masculine, militant force without our noticing?

I think so. I look around at our people, and I see a bunch of fat Romans about to lose their international power. Rome before the fall.

I used to work for the airlines, and we did many military charters over to the middle east. I gotta tell you, our soldiers look the same as our citizens... uneducated, excited to kill, and fat. It scared me that these were our soldiers.

Add this to the fact that America has I believe only the 4rth largest army (Military) in the world, and I think we are and have been screwed for a while. Our power is the power of words. Scare tactics. Now that we have a president who, shall I say, doesn't have a knack for words, we don't even have that on our side. Smaller countries are fighting back, and we cant back up our words.

Lastly, what do China and most other countries have that we don't?

PRIDE and CULTURE

One culture for the whole country. Not broken pockets or neighborhoods of people from different countries. They have one people, one way of life. They have focus we lack. I am ashamed of my country, not at the politicians and their indiscretions, but at the people, for sitting back and letting our "leaders" lead us into certain doom. We deserve what we get!

An understandable question, though flawed. With over 1 billion persons currently populating China, they already GREATLY overshadow the US & UK in manpower. (USA's approx 295,734,134 plus UK's approx 60,441,457 = 296+ million versus China's: 1,306,313,812 Source: CIA website.) China already has a standing army larger than the population of the USA (males age 18-49: 342,956,265; females age 18-49: 324,701,244 TOTAL: 667,657,509.) This means that the Chinese army is 56% bigger than the UK + USA poplulations COMBINED.
Furthermore, one should notice that a war with the West would severely hamper China's efforts to colonize the world ECONOMICALLY. They are taking a page from the US corporations and serving their interests not by expensive (and overall ineffective) military occupations, but rather, through the investment of capital in third world nations. All in all, the concept of "countries" is outdated. Such things are meant to distract us from the real threats to our survival as a species: the corporatocracy. CORPORATIONS, not countries, run our world. We must realize that money is much more destructive than a bullet or even a WMD. If we focus on things like "They don't look at you in the eye when speaking" we are missing the point. These countries controlled mostly by rich men are driven by greed- not by creating sustainable life for their people.

Without our noticing? I think that's unlikely with our technology. China will definitely be a more dominant superpower. I don't think the US or UK can do anything about it other than to boycott Chinese goods which will destabilize their economic growth for the time being. But I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon so I'd say brush up on your Chinese and pray that they'll be our ally in the future.

Walmart made China very rich and powerful. Almost 85% of consumer goods sold in the US is made from China. America became the dumping ground of chinese junk. The US lost the economic 'war' and will forever be dependent on China because the manufacturing industry here is almost gone.

I noticed a long time ago. It hasn't been much of a secret. But the way China is using up it's people and resources, and polluting their country makes me think they have to try something in the next decade or implode.

I don't think China is the one we should worry about as much. Iran is the ones who already have missiles, not missiles of mass destruction but that they can and will send over here that go off in the sky and shuts down all electrons. Think about that nothing would work. In one second we could be in the 18th century again. None of our defense mechanisms would work we would be vulnerable to everyone including China. That's what we need to be worried about.

Shh. You let out their secret!!

China has been a major threat since after WWII and they got their asses kicked by Japan. The only thing that is going to save us from them is the money it costs to build and maintain superior weapons (i.e. USSR).

Oh crap, they are making MAJOR $ from us buying all the crap from Wal-Mart which they pay people .25/hr to make. You need to boycott Wal-Mart if you want to cause Civil War in China.
