Is there a need for a drag and drop web editor?

Is there a need to simplify the process of building a website by making it as easy as uploading photos, and text to a site then simply dragging and dropping them where you'd like them to appear?

Working with designers that don't know html very well, I say that a drag and drop system is a must.

For the more skilled designers and programmers out there its not as important, but can make the beginning layout simpler.

Personally, I am so used to using a text editor to write html, that is as quick as using a gui to drag and drop elements.
