Its ok. I have a son who is 4 and he wakes up every morning just like a man does. Its just natural and they have no control over it. Just change the diaper and let him go play. It doesn't always mean he has to pee by the way...as you can tell since it is happening AFTER you change his diaper.

What to do about it? Nothing of course! It's completely normal. Some babies have been known to have been born with erections. They are frequent from then on. Just ignore it! It's as simple as that!

A babysitter needs to know how to handle any kind of dirty diaper situation. If you can't handle it, you shouldn't be a sitter and I wouldn't hire you. Take a Red Cross course to qualify you.

Having two boys of my own I can reassure you that a brief erection in a baby is quite normal and nothing to worry about.
Keep your cool, let him pee, and give him a smile.

Don't worry, it's totally normal and it won't do him any harm. Just ignore it, clean round about it and stick the clean diaper on.
