It's one of those movies made from books, and I read the book - I think it would be hard to make a movie like that. Give your thoughts here. :)

I've had the book from the minute it was released by the publishers; I'm really curious as to how they'll translate that to a film. I'm sure there will be a ton of computer generated special effects in it! It should be a pretty good movie, tho. I'll be going to see it & take my children.

I almost started reading the series but stopped myself I have Harry Potter and i am not into dragons. So no i donot think I will see it and you are right it would be hard to make a movie like that.

I will go see it, but I think they will probably leave a lot of what was in the book out. They had the same problem with the Harry Potter series.

Yeah im gonna watch it. Its comin out earlier in the US :'(. Im in Aussie and it comes out in Dec 15. I have to read the books again coz i dont remember wat happens lol ^^. apparently they dont know who's gonna do saphira's voice that's why the trailers arent out yet. Me and my friends are predicting that Eragon is gonna be rated (M) because the movie's that eragon's trailer was going to be in were all rated (M) ^^.

most probably, ill go see it anyways
i read the book and i just hope if they do make a movie, they stay true to the book
but, hollywood is getting into a habit of screwing things up sooo......
ill just have to wait and see

i hope the movie will turn out to be good. while i was reading the book i kept thinking to myself how they would translate this or that onto film..hopefully they'll still be loyal to the book...
