Depending on what's going on with your skin, and where it is that you have a skin problem. Usually this helps out:
- When taking either a shower or washing up over a sink, use warm (NOT hot or cold, either one can irretate the skin even more) and mild soap. Depending on the skin problem and how serious it is, just find in the store (if you don't have it already) a soap for sensitive skin (there are different brands for that), your skin at this point is a little bit too sensitive to any other soaps. Some of the soaps for sensitive skin (just like for any other type of skin) already include Vitamin E or A, B, C, D and many other ones too in order to promote a healthy skin.
- When using soap don't rub it into your skin, use it gently to just disinfect the skin from the long day of stressing it out. Wash / Rinse your face to get rid of the soap (careful not to get in the eyes).
- Take a soft towel and gently dry your face. Don't rub the towel on your face, it can cause pain and even more irritation.
- If you don't have a Vitamin E lotion, find it in any store (it doesn't have to be expensive). Apply the lotion to your face everyday after washing your face with warm water and mild soap, and after your dried it off. The lotion will be able to not only sooth the irritation, pain, and discomfort, it will also heal your skin.
** The skin problem might go away within a week or two, depending on how serious it is.
At times, it depends on your nutrition, genes, where you live, work and what's going on around you. If you have more than just "rough skin" spot on your face or anywhere else on your body, consult a caring professional. He/She will be able to tell you exactly what to do in this case and how cure your problem. The professional might even find that your body is missing specific vitamins that it needs to give a healthy and glowing skin, and might be able to prescribe either vitamins or minerals that you'll have to take from time to time to see how everything's going. It might not be anything serious at all, just a minor disballance in your body and this is the result that you see.
Just be patient whenever there's a problem, it will go away in time and you'll see your skin will be healthy again :)

Fruits, liquids, and vitamin E. But without knowing about the condition, difficult to say. Say how can one tell, if the sun will be good, or bad, without knowing that by bad skin you mean burnt skin?

If you have generally bad skin like dry and flaky or slightly rashy, use Aqueous cream you can get it from your doctor or over the counter at the pharmacy. Take care!

If you mean spots, I used to be covered in them but used germolene on my face every night and they cleared up completely. But it might just be an age thing!
