Rating a game in the first place allows companies who dare to sink low enough to make such a game to go home and sleep with a clean conscience. If they have a rating system they open the door to vulgar games. The Atari 2600 had such games and they didn't have a rating system back then. It is irrelavent to have a rating system in the first place and I say that because little bobby will always borrow the game from their older brother who rented it when bobby said "I'll give five bucks if you rent me this game." It's like a minor talking a grown up into buying them cigarettes.
