it's easier to see other people's faults than our own

We live in a society that praises success and never failure. No one remembers how many battles a general has lost, only the ones that he's won. That mentality is bred into us so that we believe that we must become flawless in order to be a person of any worth or value. Give me the people who make mistakes, they know what not to do. A person who makes no mistakes is not only dangerous, but also a liar.
My biggest mistake is taking on too many jobs to do all at once, it gets me too frustrated and angry, I need to speak up and say 'no' more!

People are born with a sinful nature. The largest and most devastating part of that sinful nature is selfishness. Everybody has a "me" attitude about life. Therefore, it's much easier to (perhaps unintentionally) think of oneself as better than another, and so we are much quicker to point out the faults of others. It's about selfishness, pride, and laziness... not wanting to fess up and take responsibility for our own actions.
The Bible teaches that we are to take the plank out of our own eye before we try to do something about the speck of sawdust in our brother's eye... making sure that we take care of our own problem before we point out the problem in someone else.

Because it's a lot easier to point out other peoples mistakes to make yourself feel better. It's hard to admit that you made a mistake because sometimes, in your own mind, you feel like you haven't. IT also makes some people feel like nobody is perfect.

The human mind refuses to admit its own mistakes (of course unless its under pressure), so finding the other faulty is much better, and easier to deal with.

it is human nature that they always pont out the mistakes commited by others.they never take care of what they do, rather they take interest in others' mistakes and always points out those by themselves.so, it is in every man's behaviour that they never think what they do which should not be done, but they always go forward and interfare in the life of other people pointing out there mistakes.

sometimes people dont really see thier own mistakes and they need someone to point them out to them. or maybe they kno they are making mistakes but they dont kno how to deal with it. pride also is in effect. in the bible it says to take the plank out of your eye first before you point out sawdust in your brothers eye.

It's always easier to see another's faults. Most people don't like to look that closely at themselves.
