When I was in High School I had a friend that had a hitting problem. We would joke around. She would say something funny involving me and I would laugh cause I knew it was a joke but when I did it to her she would hit me (she hit me in the face 3 time). After the third time she hit me in the face I slapped her back and told her that if anyone ever hit me I would come find her and slap her instead. Should I have done something diffrent? (She never hit me again)

I am not still friends with her. I think after I slapped her back it scared her. The real funny thing is I was shorter then her and probably still am seeing as I have been the same size since then.

I don't have to worry about her crying abuse seeing as we are both females and the fact that that girl hit really hard. I had to actually be mad enough to hit her as hard as she got me..

You did the right thing. I don't think anyone should hit another person because we are all human and we all have feelings. It does not matter if it is a woman hitting a man. He should give her a warning the first time around and let her know if she does it again, he will respond. Sometimes women do that just because they know they can go report abuse and the cops will take their side. I feel, if I was man, after that third round, I would have done the same. Just be careful of what you do because as long as the female can show a bruise, you will be in trouble.

I think you did the right thing, and I am a woman. I have hit guys in the arm or chest after they have said something funny (like in high school or whatever, not now) but NEVER in the face.!!!

IF I EVER hit a guy in the face I would EXPECT him to hit me back. Of course, I would never do that to a man. That is disrespectful.

I would consider you a gentleman for waiting three times. And as long as you didn't hit her too awefully hard, I am glad you slapped some sense into her!

Of course you did the right thing, some people would rather things happen to other people than them. But they must understand what is good for the geese is good for the gander. If you joke about people you should be ready to receive the same too.
I think most likely she looked at you as someone junior to her or she had an inferiority problem. I would slap someone junior to him if they joked about me like that, but i should also not bring myself so low to say things about them too.

I think you did the right thing. I think you should keep in mind "if someone hits you once hit them twice". Good that you slapped her. You shouldve punched her because she did it to you 3 times.

I don't advocate hitting, but it put her on her toes. I had a friend like that when I was young. It used to tick me off. Then one day, after not seeing her for about a year, she came up to me and told me she was going to whup my butt in not so many words. I had a growth spurt that summer. I stood up to her, in fact towered over her, and told her I'd like to see her try. It scared the bejeeses out of her.

Sounds like you stood up for yourself! Good for you! The only thing that I would have done differently is maybe have told her sooner than the 3rd time to back off. Well done.

lol She's lucky all you did was slap her. You handled it correctly and like you said, it put a stop to her hitting you. When people get tired of something, they find ways to put a stop to it.

Well you obviously did something right because she never hit you again. Are you still friends with her?

Diffentley not, you did the right thing bye hitting her back. You need to defend yourself, and if thats show her bye hitting, then so be.

No that sounds like you did the right thing in my opinion. Standing up for yourselfe is good. And as for her not being your friend any more, if she can dish it out but not take it, she sounds like a strange one anyways.
