gocart - 35 mpg Bro, AND heart stopping performance!

treepeople - 72,000 and counting - no major probs yet, but I know what you mean. It does feel a bit "rickety" at times! It's a Korean Chevette!

No offense..But what did you expect..The only thing you have going for you is the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty..And trust me.. You will use it, because everyone i know who has a Kia, has problems. They are cheaply made pieces of crap, and the RIO is the cheapest Kia models they have... Anyone who praises a KIA has not had it for very long.. They work for about 2-3 years and then the problems start.. Never buy a used model because you will not get the warranty, and you will be stuck with constant engine problems you have to fix on your own.. If you do buy one, buy it new just to get that warranty.

There's different aspects to performance, for a road-car the biggest performance number to focus on is MPG...not MPH.
If you got a car that'll go 85MPH, you can exceed the speed limit in all 50 states. If you can go 85 miles on 1.5 gallons of fuel, you have a car in tune with the times, even if it doesn't give you neck-snapping performance numbers from every stoplight hole-shot...
anything that doesn't get to the ground is wasted, if your engine's tuned up acceptably, be happy with that...or buy a car with a bigger engine and get out there and burn some GAS! Better your wallet than mine, though...
