I wouldn't say ALL computers come with ethernet cards but MOST do these days. If you are unsure what an ethernet port looks like (technical term an RJ45 Jack) just look on the back of it to see if there appears to be a RJ45 jack, they look alot like a regular phone jack except they are wider and have 8 metal contacts, a normal phone jack (modem) port has 2 or 4 metal contacts (depending on modem manufacture).

If you have 8 metal contacts, you got yourself an ethernet card.

Yes. All computers now come with Ethernet cards. Make sure though. They are not expensive.

To find if you already have one: Look in the back of the computer for a jack that looks like a slightly larger Phone-line jack. Keep in mind, you probably also have an actual Phone-line jack on another Modem card aswell.

Look at the back of the computer. You are looking for a connector that looks like a phone jack but slightly wider (female).

Really any newer computer comes with an ethernet card, the older ones (laptops included) usually did not (especially bargain ones)

The good news is that the cards are cheap (don't pay over 20 bucks) for a desktop. One may even be provided with the setup kit.

Have fun with your broadband.

Desktop computers do need ethernet cards too. They are pretty cheap - anywhere between $20 and $50.

some have them from the factory, some dont.most dsl comes with an option to use ethernet or usb,usb works well to. that is what i use.when you install the software for dsl it should tell you if you have one or both of them.if you do not have ethernet the software will automaticlly install the usb drivers.
