No, it's not weird. At this point in your life, there are much more important things. Make good grades. Make good friends. Make some good guy friends. When you do decide to take an interest in boys, things will go a lot better if you know how to talk to them.

Not at all weird. When I was 14, I didn't even notice a guy had a crush on me until it was spelled out in a note from him. Even then I had to ask my best friend if it were true. I never dated him, we were just friends. I wasn't interested in guys at that time, I wanted to do other things. Do well in school, play volleyball, go out with friends. I wasn't allowed to wear makeup but I didn't care too much about it anyways.
I would guess this is just a phase. But if you find in a few years you still feel the same way, don't be alarmed. Once you find the right guy or a new interest, you'll find all the worries were just silly.
Have fun, be young!! Life is too short.

I was a tomboy too. I HATED doing anything girly. Forget Barbies and that crap, I wanted nothing to do with it and wanted to play soccer, kickball, build tree houses, go in the woods, etc.
I did, however, like guys my whole life.. I was boy-crazy beginning at age 2!
Do you think you might be a lesbian or are you just not interested in any kind of relationships at all? It's ok if you don't want to date anyone yet, I did know of a guy in school that wanted nothing to do with girls until he turned 15.

No it isn't a big deal. I stopped hanging out with all the girly girls years ago, I couldn't take it any more. I would rather be working outside then going to the mall to buy a skirt. I look at guys, but I have never been upsessed about them, and out of all of my friends I don't have one guy at my school that I think is hot. You can have guys the rest of your life, why not have fun now. If you want to talk say hi.

Does it really matter what other people think? You know who you are. You could be a late bloomer. My wife was a tomboy, and still is for that matter. And she does not wear any makeup at all. And I like it that way. Ever heard the expression "Less is more" well I think "None is best" Go with your natural beauty. And be true to yourself. Don't worry about what your friends think.

It not weird at all. It means you are smart enough not to get sucked up into the inane whirl of young girls. I was a young girl once, and I wasn't one of the girls who talked about boys, clothes and makeup 24/7. I am now 21, married, and have a daughter. Girls at that age are backstabbers a lot of the time. If you feel like you're being left out of activities because you don't like those things, get new friends. Honestly, the longer you feel this way, you just might try to be something you are not in order to please them. Don't. Stick to your feelings. If you want to play soccer instead of go to the mall, I applaud you for that. Be yourself.

not weird, good! i have a 13 yr old girl who is the same way. 14 is too young to be self and boy- obsessed. i was at your age, but i was an insecure kid w/ a screwed-up family life. so good for you that you march to your own beat and arent pressured into being like the other girls, just for the sake of doing so. not all girls are boy crazy, and im sure you can probably find some common interests w/ other girls outside your usual group. good luck

No, you are a normal 14 year old girl. I too was sort of a tom boy when I was your age. I thought some guys were cute but I wasn't obsessed with them or wanted to date them. There is plenty of time for all that. Enjoy your teenage years and don't worry about your friends.

well its not weird, maybe u should enjoy ur time left as a kid before u label urself something ur not. and being a tomboy is ok. my brther would rather date a girl that could play baseball, throw a football, etc. because hed rather a girl be athletic than prissy. hes had dates w/ girls who complains about breaking a nail, and he always hates the date. ps hes a little older than u, and probably like guys at ur school so maybe someone is really into u but u just dont realize it yet. and i would rather be a tomboy than boy goo-goo at ur age so, enjoy it.
