From your question I presume that you are a fundamentalist Christian. It feels right to me that you are.
I refuse to accept your givens, neither will happen. Heterosexuality will continue to be the dominant genetic paradigm and artificial insemination does exist.
If you wish to ask questions, ask something that at least has some relativity to real life.

sure why not, sex is sex... if it weren't for the social stigma straight people would engage is same sex intercourse (look at the romans and historical warriors like Alexander the Great). For procreation sake, I wouldn't mind natural conception. Remember monogamy is a human creation, most natural conception is not related to love.
