Depends on the traffic.
If you aren't stuck in traffic, you probably can get there in 45 minutes. Just remember to head toward Scottsdale and use the loop. The airport is on the southwest side of town....Scottsdale is on the northwest side of town.

Desert Ridge is in Phoenix you nut. I used to live in Desert Ridge. Traffic just never seems to be an issue in Phoenix like it is in other cities. It is a perfect laid out city on a grid. So if there is an accident on one road or freeway you can get on another road very easily. Desert Ridge is on Tatum and has easy access to the 101. No problem.

This definitely depends on your starting location. Phoenix is HUGE and spread out. I live in south Phoenix and it takes me an hour to get to desert ridge, 15 minutes to the airport, etc.

We go to the JW every summer (because it's cheap then)... it takes us about 20 minutes from Sky Harbor airport. Just head up 51 to the 101 loop, and go east about 1/2 a mile to the Tatum Blvd exit. Good location as long as you don't get stuck in rush hour traffic, as it has good access to downtown on the 51, Scottsdale, Chandler or Peoria via the 101 loop, and points north (Sedona/Flagstaff/Grand Canyon) via 17. Have fun.
