Most likely the baby has dropped. But this doesn't mean you are about to go into labor. A baby can drop any where from a month to a few minutes before being born. My first dropped early and sat on my bladder for about three weeks, it made me have to run to the bathroom about every fifteen minutes but didn't bring on labor.

You have felt your baby dropped. It's a sign your baby is getting ready to come out, but it may be another week or so, since it's your first. This will be the most uncomfortable feeling you've had the whole pregnancy and it won't go away until that baby comes out. So try to keep yourself relaxed and warn your guy, or whoever is around, that you're not gonna be in a great mood for a while. Just try to find a comfortable position, and congratulations. Don't worry, your baby just decided to use your bladder for a pillow. hehe

I recently had a baby, my first as well so I wasnt sure what to expect. I had the same pressure feeling that you are getting 2 weeks before I went into labour. I was told that it is the baby getting into the birth position. Nothing to worry about though, if you're having trouble sleeping use lots of pillows. You will definately know when you are beginning to have contractions and when you absolutely need to go to the hospital. Congrats and good luck. PS. Try drinking raspberry leaf tea, helps for an easier delivery. Also lots of walking or swimming will help bring on labour.

That is totally normal, and it'll last until you start labor. I was totally uncomfortable for the last month I was pregnant (both times). If you do more walking, the baby might drop a little more so that he's not sitting right on top of your bladder. Just relax and enjoy the last couple weeks before baby arrives.

This could be the baby dropping - which means that he's in position to be born. It could be a few days before labor begins, or it could be a couple of weeks. Congrats on your first - I'm 7 months pregnant with my 4th and final!

you probably are dropping. As long as you don't have pain you're fine. It is uncomfortable, but if you are really worried you can call the doctor.
