Yes, and getting worse. Today it's great, nice breeze, 106, beautiful puffy clouds. But, more often than not, the outlines of the surrounding mountains are blurred by smog. It used to be only in the winter (something about an inversion layer) but as the Valley has grown, we get it all summer too if the air is still. Too many drivers commuting in from long distances.

Yes its smoggy. You can see the smog just sitting in the valley. Its also sooooo hot and dry with no greenery whatsoever ( I know that was way more info than you asked for.)

Put it this way, driving on I-10 the freeway sign everyday reads high pollution best to carpool. Phoenix is LA junior!!! but hey who cares right as long as we have 350 days of sun and no rain. At least thats what the mindless masses from the midwest and Cali think

Yes. It gets trapped in the valley unless there is a lot of wind
