For me it's proper stretching of as many joints as possible. I do it when I wake up in the morning. I'll aos stretch again before exercise to reduce the risk of injury.

Jumping jacks. Works out heart and improves circulation of blood and lymph. The reason I suggest jumping jacks over running or jogging is because they are not hard on your knees like running and jogging can be.

stretching and walking, hold stretches for 15 seconds and repeat each stretch 3x. Walks should be 45 mins. long.

As soon as I awake, I go, up and down, and up and down 3 times, then I, open my other eyelid, and go up and down, up and down 3 times, every morning without fail. It does wonders for your eyesight.
