this car will kill when you come to a stop, it is using quite a bit of fuel also. have been told to change ignition parts , ign mod, coils, ect.

prior to this the fuel filter got changed and it ran good for about 15 miles, then stalled while driving about 45-55 mph in the rain.

has anyone else had this problem and did you find the problem.

If fuel usage increased at same time of problem with stalling you might check the temp sensor that signals the brain. If car thinks it is always cold, it will run a rich fuel mix with will increase fuel consumption and cause rough idle and stalling. Also check for a vacuum leak.

SOUNDS LIKE A FUEL PUMP PROBLEM. GO TO MECHANIC AND ASK FOR FUEL PRESSURE CHECK. YOU WILL PROBLABLY FIND THAT THE PRESSURE IS TOO LOW @ IDLE.
