Great day, yes, slightly hung over. Which is why Im here when Im supposed to be working....
Id like to remind everyone that yesterdays celebration was in regards to America's War of Independance - a time in our Nations history when people from this great country were willing to put down their lives for what they believed in - namely freedom and liberty for all.
Today, we live in a society where people are more willing to give up their basic rights - the same ones these Fore Fathers died to give to us - than to stand up for what is right. Ben Franklin said "Those willing to give up a little bit of freedom for protection deserve neither freedom or protection." These should be words to live by. We should be willing to stand up to our government and tell them that we will not accept the lies, the intrusions into our private lives and eroding of our civil rights.
It might help us all to realize that the radical Islamics are willing to die for what they believe.....so shouldnt we?

no hangover, i dont drink. but it was one hell of a fireworks display, as well as a major lightening storm going on at the very same time. it was spectacular. have a great day.

Well, I worked all day, but I came home with some delicious sushi, packed up the kids and took them to see the best fireworks display of the week (we've seen 4 now!!). No alcohol was involved and, yes, we had a wonderful day. Thanks for asking!

No, I had a nice day yesterday, we were with my husband's parents. No, I did not have a hang over, I didn't drink. I drank water and pop, but you know!
